All five ideas submitted by Infinity Flow were encouraged for full proposal submission.
Infinity Flow submitted five unique ideas in different categories of renewable energy harvesting, transportation electrification, microgrids, and grid-level battery energy storage systems to the U.S. Department of Energy for 2025 round of SBIR funding. All five ideas were encouraged for full proposal submission. Infinity Flow submitted two proposals to be reviewed by DOE SBIR panels for potential funding. This illustrates the state-of-the-art in Infinity Flow’s technology and research which align with DOE’s plans for modernization of the energy conversion technologies.

The U.S. Department of Energy’s (DOE) Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) program is designed to support innovative research and development (R&D) by small businesses, fostering technological advancements that address critical energy challenges. Through competitive funding opportunities, the program encourages small firms to develop high-risk, high-reward technologies that can drive energy efficiency, sustainability, and economic growth. By bridging the gap between early-stage research and commercialization, the SBIR program not only accelerates innovation in areas like renewable energy, grid modernization, and electrification but also strengthens the U.S. economy by promoting job creation and entrepreneurship in the energy sector.
Infinity Flow has successfully completed, tested, and validated its latest AI-based control algorithm for Grid-Tied Solid-State Transformer (SST) technology—an achievement that underscores our commitment to advancing intelligent power conversion and accelerating grid modernization.
