Infinity Flow has procured and installed a 2.5 MVA medium-voltage transformer to support system-level validation of its Medium-Voltage Solid-State Transformer (MV-SST) platform.
The newly commissioned transformer enables laboratory testing at power levels up to 2.5 MW, significantly expanding the company’s validation and verification (V&V) capability as it advances toward full multi-megawatt system deployment.
Enabling System-Level Validation
This infrastructure upgrade supports:
-
Full-power MV-SST system testing
-
Multi-module integration validation
-
Grid-representative operating conditions
-
Dynamic and transient stress testing
-
Pre-certification performance verification
The transformer allows Infinity Flow to operate under realistic medium-voltage conditions while maintaining a controlled laboratory environment. This is a critical step in de-risking scale-up from module-level validation to full-system deployment.
Strengthening the Validation & Verification Roadmap
The addition of 2.5 MVA lab capability strengthens Infinity Flow’s structured V&V plan, which includes:
-
Component-level validation
-
Module-level efficiency and transient characterization
-
Integrated system testing
-
Multi-megawatt scalability verification
With this infrastructure in place, Infinity Flow continues to build the foundation required for reliable, high-performance MV-SST deployment in AI data centers, renewable integration, EV charging infrastructure, and grid modernization applications.
